Isle of Axholme Orchestra

The Isle of Axholme Orchestra is a quality community orchestra which performs a mixture of standard classical repertoire alongside lesser known and new works. We have a built a reputation in recent years for fun, unusual and quirky concerts which has included accompanying a silent movie.

We rehearse at Ashby Wesley Methodist Church (DN16 2LS) on Tuesday evenings (7pm to 9pm) during term time.

First rehearsal back after our summer break is on 11 September.

• 28 October 2018 – Nosferatu at The Blue Room, Lincoln
• 31 October 2018 – Nosferatu at 20-21 Visual Arts Gallery, Scunthorpe
• 4 December 2018 – Christmas Concert
• 28 March 2019  – Spring Concert
• 4 July 2019 – Summer Concert

Although we perform at a high standard, we are very keen to include as wide a range of musicians as possible, and so all orchestral players are welcome, especially strings!

Subscriptions are £25 per term.
