A flagship literacy conference is taking place in North Lincolnshire in April. The event is called ‘More Than Words: Building Reading Communities’. It will raise awareness of the importance of reading and how a whole community approach can help transform lives.
The conference will take place at The Baths Hall in Scunthorpe on Thursday 27 April 2017 and will offer schools, academies, early years professionals, education specialists, community leaders and anyone involved in literacy development an inspiring day with high profile speakers, insightful workshops and lots of ideas on how you might influence and promote reading.
